Christina Gavrilova aka Forty Cats, a Russian progressive house diva, is one of the few female artists whose tracks have garnered impressive support on the world stage. The first big success arrived soon after the release of the "Fluency Rate" track on the well-recognized Ukrainian progressive artist 8Kays' label; the track has collected over 840,000 streams on Spotify alone since then. But the real breakthrough in Christina's musical career came in August 2019 when her debut EP "Highway" was launched on This Never Happened, Lane 8's personal label. It was followed by the official Forty Cats remix of one of the tracks from Lane 8's album, and soon after — another 3-track EP "Elastic Sun" at the end of 2020.

2021 was a very productive year for Forty Cats, marking a new era for the artist: making appearances on the top labels in the melodic and progressive house genres. Since then her releases have seen the light on Sudbeat, Mango Alley, Plattenbank, Manual Music, Meanwhile, Juicebox, YOMO, Kindisch, Monstercat Silk and more. The support of the Forty Cats tracks includes such names as Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Guy J, Nick Muir, D-Nox, GMJ & Matter, Eelke Kleijn, Gai Barone, Above & Beyond, Lane 8, Yotto, Gabriel & Dresden, Sultan+Shepard, Gai Barone, John 00 Fleming, Paul Oakenfold, Jaytech, Mike Koglin, Braxton, Cid Inc and many more.

At the beginning of 2022, Forty Cats was signed to the LDN artist agency from London, UK. By 2023 she was able to perform at international shows in Sri Lanka, India, Thailand, and Armenia. As of now, Christina continues to release great singles, EPs, and remixes focusing on the beloved progressive house sound, shaping up her firm, recognizable sound, and also touring globally with the DJ sets.

Adapting and evolving, unencumbered by convention or expectation, Amháin is the epitome of innovation, flair and dedication in the continuously shifting world of modern electronic music.

Performances at some of the leading global festivals are testament to this success as Burning Man, Lightning in a Bottle and Rainbow Serpent have all witnessed Amháin’s immaculately crafted sets. Able to translate those skills to the more intimate club environment, Berlin’s Sisyphos and Los Angeles’ Pattern Bar are also prominent names on a polished resumé.

  A nascent production career is equally notable with a growing portfolio of high-class production material. Making his commercial debut in March 2020, with the Melodic Techno gem, “Antecedent” as part of Sound Avenue’s “Correlation” series, remixes for onedotsixtwo and recent signing to the Iconic Melbourne based Vapour Recordings lit up the latter part of 2022. 

2023 has begun in no less impressive fashion with a standout reworking of Erdi Irmak’s “Walls” for Proton Music as his production career continues to gather momentum with a plethora of exciting new releases across 2023 and beyond.
