It represents the connection between the earth, the spirit world, and the universe, signifying strength, longevity, wisdom, and rebirth. The roots of the Crann Bethadh reach deep into the earth while its branches stretch upwards towards the sky, symbolizing a connection between heaven and earth.

Let us live so that we will will be remembered in the hearts of our loved ones and so that whatever we are capable of has been done to the fullest of our ability in our time here.  When we open our last door, let it be to depart a better place than we were born into.
