2014 album ERA DISCORDIA by Black Is Blue.

This album was inspired by the race to the stars, NASA archives, the cold war, science fiction, paranoïa, discordianism and space radiation damage. the first inspiration for this endeavour came to me while watching the From The Earth To The Moon docufiction series.

Many samples are from the Apollo mission tapes, recorded in the cabin of Apollo 11 or the command center in Houston. I obtained these directly from the NASA online archives and from www.archive.org.

This album was entirely created, recorded and mixed in Ableton Live, which I also used to play live sets.

This is essentially a remix of Louis Armstrong's Mess Around from the legendary Hot Five sessions in 1925-1926.

Black is Blue is an electronic music project inspired by industrial music, new wave, ambient, electronica, as well as movie and game soundtracks.

I started this solo project in 2011 and released the first six-track Ep in 2012.

After a couple of years traveling around the world, I am currently living in Norway, in a small village an hour from Oslo. I am working on new material to be released in November 2014.
