Jacob's Dream is one of three singles being released ahead of Cellular Signal's upcoming album Northwest. Solidifying the electro-dreamwave style, Jacob's Dream tells the story of Jacob from the Biblical book of Genesis. On the run after being threatened with murder from his only brother, Jacob became separated from his family and lost in the wilderness with his future wiped out entirely - until a promise came to him in the night from Heaven. Let the tale remind us that sometimes hard times must come before the blessing.

Mane In the Wind (2024 Remix)

This is a redone version of my earlier rendition of Carl Bach's "Solfeggietto," including the five measures previously missing -- and it's the coolest part of the piece! I also played it faster to match the intended tempo. I used the same instrument -- DSI Tetra!

This is an experiment I did as I was trying to make upgrades and changes to my music studio. If you like to just get immersed in the vibe of pure, glorious synth sounds, take a listen!

Other notable features include real analog bucket-brigade delay, BT/Izotope Stutter Edit, and my signature sound -- polysynth pad oscillators fed into dual filters on the Dotcom Modular to get that rich "Oberheim" sound.

This was included as Track 3 of ShaYne's last EP, Asphalt Repaved.

Why should guitarists have all the glory? Guitar effects can be used for synth sounds too.

This is intended to be more of a sound experiment -- almost like a demo -- than a composed piece, but the music is very enjoyable nonetheless! Virtually all sounds were processed through one or more stereo sets of analog effects pedals as shown in the cover art, giving the piece a very vintage, throwback, unreal quality. In particular, the piano processed through analog chorus and real analog bucket brigade delay is to die for!

-Ibanez AP7 phaser (no longer in production -- SO GLAD I got these when they were still made!)
-BOSS BD-2 Blues Driver
-MXR Analog Chorus
-BOSS DM-2W delay (the best of the pack)

In case you're curious, the reason there are two of each type of pedal is to allow for stereo processing. This gives such a massive sound probably not heard anywhere else. Enjoy!
