We all left school in the 80's to miners strikes and unemployment. Despite this, looking at old photographs from the time we looked like an Aerosmith tribute band on a budget and without a care in the world. Happy times despite everything. Sadly, one or two of us are long gone.
So this song has an 80's feel and hopefully reflects the times.

Looking at old photographs, well I had to laugh out loud 
Looking at the hair and the clothes what were we thinking of

We all left school for the dole, apparently no one wanted coal
While on the Tyne they were no longer building ships 
They had all sailed east where it was cheap

I wrote this a few years ago when Trump was in the Whitehouse and Boris Johnson was in Downing Street.
Trump bragged about paying just $750 in tax that year because he was intelligent and Johnson amongst other things shut down parliament illegally.
Meanwhile the prison system is full to bursting and Trump just today having lost his case is trying to discredit the judge, the jury and the entire US legal system.
And don't even begin with little mad vlad.
Go figure.
