What an Absolute BOMB!!! Not surprised since Gene Farris of course.. This song was the literal *theme song* of our recent event we threw in leu of Dirtybird Campout called Squirtybird haha.. and our theme was Dirtybird + Space for the entire evening so every single set played included this track!! Haha it is such a good track that despite hearing it in 4-5 different sets the same night no one seemed to mind :P cheers!

This ethos is reflected in their genre-straddling studio output, and in their eponymous radio show, which puts other risk takers on display. Now, Walker & Royce take Rules Don’t Apply to new heights with its new record label. The Splits series offers two singles from two artists that are paired and released as an EP. A nod to DIY punk bands releasing split 7-inch records, RDA aims to keep that collaborative spirit alive.

On "Animals", Walker & Royce and Ardalan form like Voltron to deliver a primal banger lathered with growls, thick lasers and searing synth licks. The track kicks off with an escalating progression, driven by a reverberating siren and nuanced whistles. “Animals” is more sample-driven than typical W&R releases, influenced by prodigal production up-and-comer, Ardalan. The collaboration embeds the feeling house lovers are eager to explore in the late hours - energizing listeners and dance floors to keep pushing.

On "When Will I See You", we witness yet another perfectly balanced collaboration from VNSSA & Lenny Kiser. Their memorable & iconic bass line is brilliantly complimented by Neon Super Black's vocals. The track charms with melodic elements and Arps, but channels a harder, driving energy.

German house masters Tube & Berger and Juliet Sikora have announced that they will be releasing the third volume in the 'It Began In Africa' compilation series on Kittball Records. For this, the label have teamed up with "The African Children's Choir", licensed their music and organised a selection of producers to remix them whilst contributing their royalties to the choir. The money will provide shelter, education and a new home for African children in need.

The first two compilations generated over 15,000 Euros which were used to support the choir and its social projects. The funds enabled the building of nurseries and schools to help children get away from life in the streets and this new edition includes tracks from Dario D'Attis, Flashmob, Josh Butler, Mat.Joe, Magdalena, Riva Starr, Walker & Royce and many more.

This is a deep and afro-tinged selection of house tracks that take us back to the roots of rhythm, embalming the earthy grooves with all manner of melodies, tribal percussive patterns, cosmic signifiers and more in between.

You know Dirtybird for dropping basslines and creating smiles on the dance floor since January 2005.

The fun family vibe of the Dirtybird label can be traced back to a free event started in Golden Gate Park, San Francisco. This new kind of house music went against the smooth vocal house that was popular at the time and derived its influences mostly from hip-hop, drum n bass, and American funk. The free outdoor BBQ party was very rough around the edges but eventually became legendary amongst the people of San Francisco. This event was also a very influential factor in the decision by Claude VonStroke to start the record label in 2005.

Today, Dirtybird has offices in San Francisco and Los Angeles and has expanded into events and tour production. As it grows, the brand continues to expand beyond music into merchandise, licensing and artist management. In 2015, Dirtybird launched the inaugural Dirtybird Campout festival, which has been dubbed “Summer Camp For Adults”, and Dirtybird has been recognized from their achievements by being awarded "Underground Label of the Year" at the International Dance Music Awards, “Label of the Decade” by Mixmag, “Best North American Label” by DJ Mag, and Billboard’s "Top 5 Independent Dance Labels".
