Spider-man 3 The game: City - 2

To celebrate the 35th anniversary of the Metroid series and the recent release of Metroid Dread, I have recreated the main theme which was originally presented as the prologue intro theme of Super Metroid and reappeared in subsequent games in the series including Metroid: Other M, Metroid: Samus Returns, and Metroid Dread. 

I reconstructed the theme from scratch using modern instruments, bombastic percussion, and punchy sound design elements while faithfully retaining the dark signature of the original Super Metroid soundtrack.

A surreal journey through metronomic and phasal rhythms, with string orchestra, tuned percussion and ticking clocks, owing a little inspiration to Gyorgy Ligeti and Steve Reich. To compose this music I used a cellular version of my invention harmonic mathematics, to create 4 independently changing loops heard chained in a sequence.

Here it is !
This track took me about 6 hours to make. I'm very proud of the result.
The voices took me pretty long to make, and since they are not real I can't make them talk. The male voices only do a "Eh" and a "Ah" and I tried to put them so your ear will hear the correct vocals. It's pretty hard to understand, but trust me, it's working. :D
