A special mix from Bestial Mouths called 'HEX ENGINE' combines mostly female voices with noise and club beat.

Along with new Bestial remixes by SRSQ, Kontravoid and Void Vision, it features music from OCTONOMY, Minuit Machine, Lingua Ignota, Ash Code, HIDE, White Ring, Anatomy, SaD, and new project Us Departed with SØULLESS. As well, HEX ENGINE features classic sounds courtesy of  friends at OBSCURED Radio, including Meira Asher, Hex Minora, Mantra, Pain Teens, Christine Baczewska and more.

[BIO]:
In their decade-plus existence, Bestial Mouths have been defined by the voice and presence of Lynette Cerezo. Since 2018, Bestial has been the sole project of Cerezo, blossoming outward as a channel to explore deeply personal lyrics of self-stagnation and trauma. 2019’s INSHROUDSS EP was the first Bestial Mouths release entirely written and conceived by Cerezo. Since then, a full-length album RESURRECTEDINBLACK has followed. Detailing the past two years of her life, it is a profoundly personal release that brings Bestial Mouths’ journey full circle, and into new realms of darkness. The scrap metal, tribal drums and raging guitar of the project’s beginnings returns, amped up with snarling electronics and laced with field recordings captured during the writing process. 2021 has brought the cycle full-circle with THOUSANDNEEDLES, a remix LP of those two releases, reworked by SRSQ, Buzzkull, ADULT., Kontravoid, Void Vision, Light Asylum and more, with cassette and vinyl releases on SOIL and Fill-Lex Records and a collection of accompanying narrative music videos.

We have a very special guest for this weeks podcast reigning all the way from Montreal. This Coldwave/ Leftfield queen divines her style by her feverish sequences and heavy rhythms laced with some killer vocals. 
In 2014 we have come to know her here in Europe for the 'Le Mal Nécessaire' tour which just released then. Following up by expanding her sound in the dark electronic direction with the 7 inch 'Sillage & Caprice' in 2015 and the LP 'Fugitive' in 2016. Last year her love for EBM became very clear again in her collaboration EP with Sarin: 'Collision'.
This year she is touring Europe again for her new album 'Plein Nord' starting in Berlin the 11th of May so be sure to check that out when you are in the neighbourhood.

Knife presenta Osvaldas Bertašius aka Egzotikka, nacido en Lithuania, ahora basado en Londres. 
Durante 4 años se ha estado introduciendo en los sintetizadores analógicos y las cajas de ritmos. También ha estado coleccionando discos de vinilos y cassettes. Corrientes como el electronic body music y el wave son las principales fuentes de inspiración para sus producciones. Por el momento, Egzotikka está lanzando activamente sus pistas en varias etiquetas. Maneja la etiqueta de cassettes y digital llamada META MOTO. También forma parte de un proyecto de jazz llamado Lloomkk como bajista. Actualmente, Egzotikka está trabajando en un álbum ep en solitario.

Egzotikka real name is Osvaldas Bertašius. Born in Lithuania, now based in London. For 4 years he's been introducing on analog synthesizers and drum machines. He also has been collecting vinyl and tape records. Currents such as electronic body music and wave are the main sources of inspiration for his productions. At the moment Egzotikka is actively releasing his tracks on various labels. He manages tape and digital label called META MOTO. He is also playing in jazz project called Lloomkk as a bass guitar player. Currently, Egzotikka is working on a solo ep album.
