Describe your idea of an ideal job
You should say:

And say whether it would be easy to find a job like this.

Among many types of job in labour market, teaching is the one I have dreamt to do. Although it is considered  a dead-end job,  it still can provide me a fortune if I work hard enough  with dedication. Not to  mention the, the flexitime that teachers get, by which I mean  if someday the teacher  picks up an illness, he/she can have a day-off and then gives  students a makeup later. What I fancy most in this job is that  I can work with students who are very young and enomously enthusiastic, well , sometimes extremely rebellous, though. The reason for this interest is working with under-age  people would make  me somehow younger in mind..
However, I do believe that it is not a piece of cake to take this job due to competiveness of the labour market. What’s more, if I want to be a teacher at a school or uiniversity, I have to sit the civil service exam which is completely difficult. Additionally, nepotism is very popular in this field. I mean lots of people get job as a teacher by their money and relationships. Well,  anyway, against all odds,  I am trying my best to make my dream come true.

- A genetic blood disorder, /ˌθaləˈsiːmɪə / Thalassaemia, has seriously affected the quality of life for more than a fifth of ethnic people in the northern province of Hoa Binh.
/ˌθaləˈsiːmɪə / Thalassaemia, an inherited disorder, prevents the body from making enough of a protein called /ˌhiːməˈgləʊbɪn / haemoglobin, an important part of red blood cells. When there isn't enough, the cells don't function properly and do not live as long, so there are fewer healthy in the bloodstream.
This also means not enough   oxygen being delivered to the body's other cells, which may make a person feel tired, weak or short of breath. This is called /əˈniːmɪə/ anaemia. Blood  transfusions are often necessary to balance the red and white cells. People with /ˌθaləˈsiːmɪə / Thalassaemia may have mild or severe forms of the disease. Severe /əˈniːmɪə/ anaemia can damage organs and even lead to death. Bui Van Hoan, who lives in Yen Nghiep Commune, Lac Son District, said his 13-year-old son needed blood transfusion since he was two. Twice a month Hoan takes him to hospital for a blood transfusion.

Hoa Binh General Hospital's Paediatrics Ward has 10 beds for patients needing transfusions, but there are always 15 to 20 patients waiting for their turn.On average, monthly treatment costs a patient about VND8 million (US$380). Dinh Thi Dieu, head of the ward, said treating the disease was not easy because sometimes the hospital lacked blood and patients had to wait for long periods for a transfusion. This often meant they did not receive enough blood.
On average, each patient need four to six units of blood six to eight times a year. Each unit of blood is 150ml-350ml. Patients with advanced /ˌθaləˈsiːmɪə /  thalassaemia need to visit a hospital once a month. The blood for /ˌθaləˈsiːmɪə / thalassaemia patients makes up 60 per cent of the total blood used in the ward. If patients receive good treatment, they can live for 20 years. If the treatment is inadequate, 10 years is more likely.
To try and control the disease, the Hoa Binh Province People's Committee asked medical staff to test more blood so that proper treatment could be given.Hoa Binh Hospital now wants to set up a special /ˌθaləˈsiːmɪə / thalassaemia centre for ‘diagnosing the disease. Nguyen Thi Minh Phuong, director of the provincial Department of Population and Family Planning, said that while there were still no cures for the disease, it could be prevented by locating people with the gene and advising them not to get married

Ep43: Hoa Binh struggles with blood disorder

In a move to reduce traffic chaos and unhealthy competition among taxi drivers, vehicles licensed outside the capital will be banned from operating in the city, the municipal People's Committee has said.
At a conference on traffic safety on Tuesday, vice-chairman of the committee, Nguyen Quoc Hung, said the municipal Transport Department would grant new  badges to city taxis on Friday. The taxis will be required to display the badge, which will be of different design to vehicles licensed outside the city. Taxis without the city badge will not be allowed to operate in the city, Hung said, adding that traffic inspectors and local police would keep a close watch on the situation.
Figures from the city's Transport Department show that about 2,000 taxis from the neighbouring provinces of Ha Nam, Bac Ninh, Vinh Phuc and Hung Yen are  operating in the capital, adding to traffic congestion and chaos. Hung said officials from the department would work with taxi firms in the city to install new badge. The work would be completed by next month.
Le Thanh Kinh, head of Le Nguyen legal firm, said that the ban on taxis from outside the city would restrict the right to trade. Nguyen Van Thanh, chairman of the Vietnam Automobile Transportation Association, said tight control over taxis in big cities was necessary, but added that the new ban was unreasonable. "If the ban takes effect, a taxi carrying passengers from a neighbouring province to a certain address in Ha Noi might have to let their passengers off on the outskirts of the city," . He said the most important role for authorities was to improve the traffic ‘infrastructure to help taxis operate in a more orderly fashion. "Parking lots for taxis can solve the problem," he said. "In foreign countries, there are always parking lots for idle taxis near residential areas. Taxis will not move around when they have no passengers."
Nguyen Minh Thanh, a resident of Hoang Hoa Tham Street, said his relative, who lived in northern Ninh Binh Province, usually caught a two-way taxi to save money."She has to go to hospital for health treatment every month. Thus, getting a two-way taxi is really economical because of the policy of taxi firms to discount up to 80 per cent of the cost for the return journey. She only pays VND250,000 (US$11.70) instead of VND800,000 ($37.70),. "But, if the ban takes effect, she might have to take a passenger bus to save money," Thanh said. — VNS

Ep44: Ha Noi to allow only city-licensed taxis

— A historical television series on the life of King-Monk Tran Nhan Tong, the founder of Viet Nam Zen  Buddhism, will be filmed early next month by the private entertainment group, Viet Nam Tinh Hoa (Viet Ess).
The 45-part series, Phat Hoang Tran Nhan Tong (King-Monk Tran Nhan Tong), is written by a group of 11 scriptwriters and authors knowledgeable about Vietnamese history and Buddhism. The screenplay was based on nine novels by writers Hoang Quoc Hai, Ha An and Tran Dai Si.The film's director, Meritorious Artist Van Luong, and his staff spent more than three years preparing for filming. "My staff and I have worked with dozens of experts in language,   costume design, and props to improve our knowledge and understand how all of these fields in the film are important historically, technically, and socially," said Luong.
The series is about the life and  attainment of  Nirvana of King-Monk Tran Nhan Tong , the third king of the Tran dynasty, who /əˈsend ascended the throne when he was just 21.The King was famed for defeating Mongol invaders. He   abdicated the throne when he was 35 and spent the rest of his life on Yen Tu Mountain, located in Quang Ninh Province, practising and  propagating Buddhism.He founded the Truc Lam School of Zen and worked to unify different Vietnamese Buddhism sects into Vietnamese Zen Buddhism.
The Central Committee of the Viet Nam  Buddhist Sangha has long observed the day the King attained Nirvana (the first day of the 11th lunar month) as the national anniversary of Vietnamese Buddhism.
"Through the film, we wanted to spotlight King-Monk Tran Nhan Tong's remarkable spirit and work," said Luong, adding that the film is his greatest project.Luong's film attracted more than 100 actors and stuntmen, who have been trained by film and theatre experts, such as People's Artists Nguyen Dinh Quang, Man Thu, Nhu Quynh and Le Chuc.
The producer Viet Ess has also constructed a 15-hectare studio in Uong Bi City in Quang Ninh Province for filming.
Post-production work on the film Phat Hoang Tran Nhan Tong will be completed in Ha Noi later this year.
