Excerpt taken from generative sound art installation. A knock stone circled a ring of 13 stones - each hit generating momentum and a midi note processed with a Drum machine and replayed with Novation A and KStation plus extra effects.

Soundtrack commission created for Artist Pauline Alexander and Caglar Kimyoncu (filmmaker) in 2007. The soundtrack is composed of multiple overlain granular loops created from 3 sources: The artist chanting - recording. The artist playing a bell - recording. The artists self drawn portraits - images used in the film. The bells created the background chanting - the chanting recording metamorphosed into bells - the images the rhythm.

Soundtrack to 'Many faces'

Created for Creative Campus Cultural Olympiad project at the University of Portsmouth in 2010.
Created from noise generated from images of cross sections of rock cut by the Geology Department collected from the Lizard Cornwall. Field recordings of the collecting were also used. The project concerned reinterpreting the untouchable boundary of the 'moho' - only available at the surface as relict formations frozen in time and out of place on the surface.

Shown in 'Upstream' as part of Brighton Festival 2011

The music was adapted and used as soundtrack to a one off dance performance at The New Theatre Royal.

Experimental sound, published poet and visual artist, I have Aspergers and am synaesthetic so experience the sensory world in a very different way.  Always interested in minimalist and sequenced music since an early age I have been making 'computer sound' since 2007 using granular synthesis - Also an obsessive interest in hardware synthesizer designs, models and process. Showing sound and poetry work in 2011 led to requests to show on a wider scale. I am just starting to make a sequenced serial music score and installation with an Analogue Modular for a neuroscience art science project.
