The phenomenon of HYSTÉRÉSIS appears when the value of a physical property lags despite the stop of the effect causing it. Here, this concept is used to underline the persistence of drone sound. The unending noise. The perfect trance yet NON-TRANCE music.

The recording of Church bells used in the track are from St Mary's Wirksworth, an Anglo Saxon church behind the gallery. The entire project is dedicated in loving memory of Sarah's father, Dr D.W. Hartnett 1952-2022
