Ein unaufgeregter Tag zum in die Sonne blinzeln und Hüftekreisen. Das Recording steigt nach etwa einer Stunde playtime ein, weil das Aufnahmegerät erst hinterher reisen musste. I travelled home from the fusion festival site in several trains, listening to fine music, that I've been collecting in playlists for over decades now. When listening to this, watching the landscape pass by, it sometimes feels like being in a movie and the soundtrack is kicking in and maybe a little tear ran down my face. I felt empty and full of feelings the same time and tried to capture these whole festival-experiences in this tape. Have fun with my fusion recaps from the last years ;)
From my festival diary:
We discussed the universe, we put music into colours, we were smart and dumb together, switched off our heads, talked about in what kind of a society we want to live in, on and next to the dancefloor, we danced, sang along, cuddled, kissed, cried and fighted. We did not sleep enough for sure and sometimes it gets very grey what was so colourful before, when we are not in good company anymore. The devil comes and hugs us. I try to imagine then the people, that love me, by my side <3 you know who you are ;)

because this is a huge subject we need to talk about in our scene! I am not a fan of spoiling the fun, but festivals are not a safe space also. A fact that is ignored by too many guests, artists and people in charge. We need change!

After the festival I was part of a panel by "My body is not your porn" at about blank Berlin. I was so empty, but I tried my best. Thank you so much to the organizers and the awareness-crews and guests that have been there!

I feel honored to be able to come back to this magical space near the lake, celebrating another orbit around the sun. On this rainy weekend, I was blessed with some sun and able to share it with a beautiful crowd.

Coming from a diverse music background, Gina´s passion has always been the dancefloor.  As a passionate dancer before she started DJing in Berlin, then immersed herself in growing a loyal wide audience and keeping listeners on many sweet places engaged with her aesthetic of the slower side of underground dance music.

Gina is telling melodic deep stories and her devotion to the music speaks through her captivating and powerful sets. 
- But it´s all about the groove, when she’s dropping some low-tempo-deep-house-joints.

After 10 years in Germany's capital, Gina moved to her new adopted city Leipzig to start a club project with two of her best friends - ost:end is the lived utopia of many different cultural workers, curators, producers and DJ´s.

What started as an idea for a club is now a record label, a booking agency and an event collective with an incredible output. Whether it's sets, releases, live talks or events - the ost:end shapes Leipzig's club culture in its own way.
