Lo-Fi song recorded live from the Octratrack.  The song was created with a mixture of samples and the 1010 fireball.   Light post processing was applied in Ableton.

Drive (Live Ocatrack Performance)

Hello there!  This is a dawless jam I've been playing around with for a little while.  I'm using the Syntakt for drums and bass, the Octatrack for sampling/mixer and the Novation Peak for all the pads, and synths.  There is a touch of the Microcosm pedal used with the Octatrack.

Future Shock - (Live Dawless Jam)

Entire song was created on the Elektron Syntakt.  Overbridge was not used.  Recorded in one live take.

Chroma

Dawless performance with Syntakt and Octatrack.  I used the #novationpeak and #microcosm in addition to the elektron boxes in the performance.  

Song was recorded in one take and mastered in Ableton Live.  Overbridge was not used.  The background video is from Beeple.

I started this song with the idea of space and the vast unknown.  The song has a lot of open melodic moments where you can lose yourself and just drift away.  I named the song Macrocosm because it seems to fit the expansive universe of the performance and visuals created.

Macrocosm

Dawless live performance on the elektron digitone.

Recorded in one take and mastered in Ableton 11. Overbridge was used for the recording and mix down. Song is named Obsolete.

I wanted to make a full song on the Digitone limiting myself to only 4 tracks. This was a challenge as I'm used to at least 12 from the Syntakt and even more when combined with the Octatrack.

Obsolete

Recorded in one take.  All sound is raw from my mixer, there was no additional mastering done in a DAW.   Overbridge was not used for the recording/mixing.  Song is called "The Outside".

Really enjoyed making this song.  I  fine tuned the performance multiple times before doing any takes and I ended up being very happy with the fist and only take I recorded.

The Digitone is playing the bass, pads and arp.  The Syntakt is playing all percussion, drums and a few interchanging melody's.  The Digitone's audio is being routed through the Syntakt to allow me to use the FX block for a "sidechain compression" sound.  All audio from the Syntakt is then going through the Oto Machines BOUM into my mixer.  The BOUM is adding compression and I use the low pass filter in the performance a few times.

Fist time experimenting using the OTO Machines Boum on a dawless jam.  I had fun with this one and ended up doing multiple takes to get the audio right and lock in the performance I wanted.

The Digitone is playing the melody and bass, Syntakt is playing all percussion, drums and the sub-melody(chords) that change.  The Octatrack is playing a few samples throughout the jam and sending midi to the novation peak that plays a subtle pad melody.  I have the Syntakt routed through the BOUM  into the Octatrack to give the drums an extra bite.

Fist time experimenting with the Death by Audio "Rooms Stereo Reverberator" pedal.  I am using mode three, "Peak".  Really like this pedal and I hope to incorporate it into other tracks and maybe even create a review/demo.  The Digitone is playing the melody while the Syntakt is playing all percussion, drums and bass parts.  I have the Digitone routing through the rooms reverb into the Syntakt L/R inputs.
