Hidekazu Imashige aka Gallery Six is an artist and composer who lives in Hiroshima, Japan.

Creating fragile ambient textures and experimental sounds based on his thought that “Everything in the world has two faces, so we need to watch them from both sides”, his sound combines elements such as beauty and dirty or light and dark. His musical research is aimed at exploring the relationship between the opposite, incorporating a wide range of source materials including field recordings, noises or glitches.

“When I go into the nature and focus on particular sounds as if I were the conductor, I find there are numerous accidentally composed music playing here and there. And my idea was to join this nature orchestra providing sounds to them to form another different world which would enable myself to listen to them from a completely different angle.
I decided to use water as the main theme as I’m somehow attracted to them maybe as I grew up in a place where it’s cloudy and raining all year around. Sounds evolved accidentally from different places of different period and times, and that very moment I played / not played to them. To me, it was full of excitement to join the nature. Some sounds were able to record upon countless visits, and some just happen to be lying there. I tried different approaches so that people can enjoy and face each and every sounds. It would be my pleasure if you can listen to the happenings and the inevitable, and also conscious and the subconscious. “

この作品は、自然の中で自然の音と共に演奏をし、後に多重録音などをしないというコンセプトで作った作品です。
僕は自分が指揮者にでもなったつもりで音を選んで聴けば、身の回りには常に偶然に作曲された音楽が溢れていると考えていました。
そして、その偶然のオーケストラに自分も参加し、自分が音を足すことで全く別の聴き方が出来たり、自然の音が自分で演奏しているかのように感じられたり、無かった世界を生むことが出来ると考えていました。
作品のモチーフに水を選んだのは、年中雨や曇りの土地で育ったからなのか、昔から水の音や水っぽい場所に惹かれていて、何かを創作する際に水をモチーフにし続けてきたからです。
色々な年月、色々な場所で、その時間、その瞬間に偶然鳴った音。
ある瞬間に自分が鳴らした音、鳴らさなかった音など、自然と一緒に演奏をする醍醐味が作品内に詰まっています。
何度も何度も何度も通い尽くして録音出来た音や、たまたまそこに居たから録れた音など、1音1音とじっくりと向き合ってもらえるよう色々と趣向を凝らしました。
偶然と必然、作為と無作為なんかを意識しながら聴いてもらえたら良いなぁと思います。

Greetings friends! Once again the earth has circled the sun, and the fall season is upon us! As the days shorten, and the leaves fall, we are pleased to bring you this most appropriately seasonal release from Italian based musician, Francis M. Gri, entitled “Decays”. At times sounding like the soundtrack to a moody, somber Tarkovsky film, Gri has captured the din of the clatter and clang of life as it grows, and then rises in an uplifting anthemic glory to all that man has made, and unmade. My first ever all-modular live set for the June edition of Modular on the Spot - PDX. 
I wanted to try doing something more rhythmic with more upfront melodies for a change.  The main melodies are primarily Make Noise 0-coast being sequenced by Monome Ansible and being resampled in the ER-301.  The drones are all from the 4MS SWN. Textures + wurlitzer samples are coming from a 2hp Play + ER-301.  All the reverb comes from via Audio Damage EOS + Æverb modules. Pamela's New Workout from ALM/Busy Circuits is providing all of the clocks + LFOs.
This live set was recorded directly to a 4MS WAV Recorder module.

Toàn - Volta No Vento (album preview)

Kazuya Matsumoto is a Musician SoundArtists Composer percussionist and Drummer from Kanazawa (Ishikawa) now based in Tokyo.
Matsumoto uses any objects that sounds including Japanese instruments like Hamon and Shamisen.
He focuses on the sound itself rather than the notes and melodies, and performs and records in the nature to create documental pieces.
By mixing his performance with environmental sounds, he transforms the whole space giving the audience a new experience.
In 2013, he received the grad prix award in the Otokuchi project which was held as the related project of Setouchi International Art Festival.
In 2014, he produced music for Primitive Sense Art Festival.
In 2015, he releases his 1st solo album “Mizu no katachi“from SPEKK label.
In 2016, he joined the “Kenko music festival” organized by the Commons label hosted by Ryuichi Sakamoto. He has also toured extensively throughout Japan (56 shows) as the “Mizu no Katachi release tour”.
In 2017, his first sound installation “Sound capsule ~ Kazuya Matsumoto himself as an exhibit” was exhibited at the “Nakagin Capsule Tower OPEN CELL 2017” held at a profound architecture designed by Kisho Kurokawa.
he releases his 2nd solo album “Ochill Chill Michill“from SPEKK label.
They hold a “Ochill Chill Michill Release Tour” that goes around all 47 prefectures and has over 100 performances in total. They will perform at Kanazawa Night Museum 2017, Zero-date Boys’ Art School 2017, Kobe Art Festival commemorating 150 years since its opening, Kumamoto Modern Art Museum, etc.
In 2018, he was in charge of the music for Nao Yoshigai “Grand Bouquet/The Most Beautiful Ladies of You” which was exhibited at the “Open Space 2018 in Transition.” held by the ICC.
At the chago/Residence Gallery, they have a dynamic movement exhibition “Moment/Mement” where they live in the gallery during the period and keep exhibiting the sound.
He held a Bustrio and Kazuya Matsumoto “Black and White and Ghosts.” at the Echigo Tsumari Art Triennale in the Art Festival of the Earth. This performance will be held at Kanazawa 21 Century Museum of Art as a part of the art exchange joint project.
Participated in “Open Grind House”, a residence program by Kichijoji Theater and Bustrio.
In 2019, Sound performance “Tetsusaeru” tour is held.
“Grand Bouquet” directed by Nao Yoshikai, who was in charge of music in 2018, was officially invited to the Cannes Film Festival during its Director’s Week.
He appeared as a DOMMUNE Presents non-musical instrument player “World of Kazuya Matsumoto.” at the Setouchi International Art Festival 2019 DOMMUNE SETOUCHI.
