Zulu has many dark and lonely corners; it's easy to get lost. But here in this dark room flash a thousand tiny lights. And there on the far side are several displays. And someone's turned the gravity down. Your face begins to flush and your weight melts to less than half of what it was. At least that's what it feels like when you walk through the hatch. And the hatch... It's a blue zone door that needs a red zone chip. Someone hacked it to a higher rating. This must be the programmer's room.

You studied your science: The empty vacuum of space isn't empty. Zulu listens to the solar fields bombarding it all the time. It's important to keep an eye on these things. People have died that didn't make it to the shelters on time. Or worse, without warning. A hologram hangs in the center of this room, a torrent of information on display.

Untitled I (and done edit)

"Jack Be Nimble" is my first full-length track ever! The track is so named because of my BFF, Jack. We served together and deployed twice together and even though we live far apart, we talk every day. I told him my first track ever would be named after him, and so here it is! Also here I need to shout out at my dad, who has been a musician for longer than I've been alive, and who really dropped some wisdom on me, greatly improving my output, even though I've only been doing this for a little over three months. I've never had a mentor before but I have to say I really enjoy the experience of processing wisdom thrown at me. It has brought me many wonderful mind-blown moments of epiphany, something I live for. Truly... Thank you, dad! :)

Actually I wasn't expecting to make a whole track in one day, but it just came out of my brain, so I uploaded it. I named this track after my dad for helping me and being my sounding board for ideas, thoughts and just generally being cool af.

I created this track using Caustic for Android. I've used a bunch of different mobile DAWs, but this one just blows everything else completely out of the water. Other apps seem strange or have a bad UI, but this track just suddenly appeared and I had only just been playing with the interface (and its manual). The developer is awesome, too. Anyway. Caustic.
