BIO
Van Czar grew up in Brussels, Belgium and he was very keen on listening and thinking about music. In the early days Van was playing Belgian hard trance as he was heavily influenced by the Cherrymoon Club and in particular the Bonzai sound. Later on he would find the raw side of Detroit Techno and Chicago House and he then started to play gigs around Belgium playing in clubs like StarTraxx.

Van Czar has a special ability to engage with the crowd. He is versatile and adapts to any kind of gig or event he takes part in. He loves clubby atmosphere as well as "hype" events.

Now producing quality Techno and Deep House, Van likes to inject sensual voices and multiple FX to get the adrenaline flowing, and it's his diverse background in music that allows him to succeed in this. As sound evolves so does Van, he is at the forefront of a dynamic industry and he has the tools to stay there. 
His tracks has seen big support on the DJ circuit on his releases and he has collaborated with 'top' artists like Brendon Moeller, Marcin Czubala or Airwave. Van has a very busy schedule these days with more EP’s in the works and gigs around the Madrid area coming thick and fast. His radio show, Bonzai Basik Beats Spain is going strong with many top artists performing and with many more to come. Based in Madrid, Van is a big part of the techno and deep house scene and recently his track "Vapeur Tardive" was showcased in a mix broadcast live on the UK's 6 Mix show by none other than the legendary Derrick May!
