Ok, there was a major glitch in the "final version": 
The E-Bow guitar was massively out of tune (between 14-20 cents too low). thats why it stuck out like a sore thumb!

Instead of  rerecording the clip I chose the Option to correct the pitch in Presonus Studio One, which I used for recording. Simple task, right click the clip and adjust Transposing and Tuning.

Since the clip consist of 23 legato notes I copied it into a new channel inserted the Tuner-Plugin to get a clue about the amount of detuning.

After slicing, I corrected each single Note to the correct pitch and  grouped them back together to one single event and converted it to one audio part again.

This clip then substituted the old ones in several places. Automation was still present and valid, so I didnt have to remix anything. As a final touch, I added a snare triplet  after the tom-fill and right before the very last cymbal hit. I hope this was the last touch up. Sounds a lot better to MHO.

Generosity - My Submission for PRESONUS' Contest:  #GetYourHooksIn and Win

Magician, Bartender, IT-Whiz, picked up the guitar again 4 years ago after havin g a 25 years break.
Doing the FOH mix for a rockband as well as managing their stage. Only recently dabbed into recording. mainly my own stuff - rock tunes.

Using minimalistic equipment: Zoom G5 multi Effect for guitar sound and as an USB Interface. DAW: Presonus Studio One Free. Sometimes Steinbergs Wavelab and a Sennheiser wireless handheld Microphone.

My current guitars are:

Ibanez RGR465 M  in Candy Apply 0.09 mm Strings (Main mean Monster)

Ibanez GRG250DX-BKF in Black Flat 0,10 mm strings (thicker strings mainly for rhythm work and beefy wall of sound stuff)

An old Cort soloist in Navy Blue Metallic that I bought from a friend. It has a simple Tremolo Bar (down only) an no lock nut, which makes it easy for quick detuning (Drop D DADGAD  Open G  ....)
Also with 0,10 mm strings 

 A Tanglewood Accoustic in Super Folk shape with 0,10 mmstrings  used for trainging puroses (building finger strength), often with a quite high action for using the slide. It has a very earthy, honest and humble sound and a very defined and clear low end once you plug her in, another rhythm monster I'd say.

If I'd need a sparklings Brilliant accoustic sound, though, I'd rather use my GF's Takamine.
