PLGRMS released this song in 2015 and I was so inspired by it I sat up late last night with a pretty bad flu and arranged and recorded a cover of it. I don't mind the imperfections in my voice that the flu has caused, so decided to share the track with you. 

I played everything myself and created all of the samples from scratch which resulted in an interesting arrangement. 
Instrumentation: scissors, click, belly slap, clap, lip smack, vocals, maracas, piano and synth.

After a longer pause I have finally released a new track! I genuinely hope that you'll enjoy it. While you're listening, some interesting notes about the background of this track: originally it was meant to feature an excerpt from HBO's Chernobyl, but I didn't want to run into copyright problems.

The title refers to the speech made by the soldier who tells the story of when he shot someone for the first time. He said he expected to be changed by the event, but he wasn't. I thought this was true for most major characters on the show: they had to make decisions that they never knew they could make and were afraid of the idea that it would fundamentally change who they are.
