Some kind of meditation on the English motorway system. logistics centres. magic. black latex. wet carpet. vibrations in the countryside. exploded tyres. late harvests. surveillance capitalism. The ghost of my old love affair with Shoegaze. unbearable inertia. casual brutality. 

This is not dance floor material, but a chance to return to more subtle, ambient and experimental territory.

Special mention to Aircode and Zero Crossing Point (who both feature here twice) for their incredible albums released early this year which were a powerful inspiration to finally get around to making this mix.

Pusjka is the DJ project of British interdisclipanry artist, George Chinnery, now based in Gent, Belgium, where he has a monthly residency on Microwave.live, whilst gradually building a reputation for highly crafted and memorable club sets.

Pusjka seeks to create hypnotic and primal atmospheres that awaken our bodies. Whether through the dark, skittering percussion of UK Techno,  visceral power of Dubstep or the sensuality of Dub Techno, he is searching for space, bass and fractured rhythms. 

In the moment of dancing, the dancer knows everything. 
Rhythm and movement re-connects us to ancient knowledge and to each other. Repetition brings transcendence. 

Diverse selections are unified by an ear for low end weight, subtle textures and wonky nocturnal propulsions. Pusjka’s passion lies in the hybrid spaces between genres, where experimental sounds find an elegant balance with intoxicating dance floor energy.
