Mrs Cosgrove (demo)

Not only 'Glasgow based', alternative rock outfit 'Red Sands' and the city in which they were raised is as much a part of them as they are of it. From the river that runs through the city to the satellite towns and dramatic rural landscapes that surround it, these are influences steeped in the bands music and consciousness. From dreamy West coast psych to fuzzy acid folk and prog, the band wear their hearts firmly on their sleeves, never forgetting their love of classic British rock and pop. The band are currently recording under the guidance of Marco Rea (The Wellgreen, Stevie Jackson, Snowgoose and DT6) with a summer 7" single to be followed by their debut album later in 2012.
