@stojche Cvetanovski (born in 1984 in Skopje, Macedonia) is just a regular rebel trapped in the urban chaos of the 21st century. The trigger factor that inspired him, was the local underground techno scene in Skopje. A city described by Derrick May and Juan Atkins as “the leading hub for Detroit techno on the Balkan Peninsula”. The expansion of the motor city sounds in the Macedonian capital and his mania for vinyl records triggered Stojche to explore his path and dig deeper in this futuristic music phenomenon. After a decade devoted to djing, he shifted to producing, and in 2009 he co-founded "argumento-music-group. He is one of the names on the European circuit that broke through with contributions to labels like A.r.t.less, DMK, Conform (@user-751044313), @subwax-bcn, @grounded-in-humanity, @sounds-benefit-records, @freundderfamilie alongside others. In 2011 he launched his solo imprint “Tangible Assets”. An outlet that has given him the freedom to explore and refine his trademark Detroit – influenced dubbed out productions. “Tangible Assets” reflects a personal statement with emphasized appreciation for the techno history. His discography marked him as one of the names that is still pushing forward the timeless envelope of the initial “hi-tech soul” legacy. In contrast, his dj sets provide further evidence of years spent behind the turntables, resulting in pounding journeys with a dose of emotional content. His constant pursuit for inspiration sits balanced with the pulse of the city life. Locked away in his studio in Berlin where passion and process all catalyze into waveforms of intense voyages, executed by a man who is well in tune with his craft.

You are about to enter a space where hardly any clubber has danced before… Feel well-absorbed into James Dean Brown's most extraordinary, emphatic and convincing DJ work so far.

As soon as he is supposed to feel reasonably safe in terms of a conclusive music selection and respectable mixing skills, JDB starts (and keeps on) experimenting, merging and warping styles, leaving the comfort zone. Consequently, you will experience weirdness of epic dimensions here while listening to a story that pleads for a great diversity of sound cultures at parties. Surrounded by nature, outdoors vibes and the heavy, monsoon-like rain must have been a great inspiration. Otherwise one could hardly explain how JDB managed to mix some of these hazardous grooves in such a relaxed way.

The trip becomes an audio drama: psychedelic Soul, Funk and Blues full of exotic magic and mystery, intoxicating Voodoo House, decelerated grooves, flexible shuffle modes, alien sound signatures, tripping hazards, spiritual vibes, enchanting incantations, ghost whispers, tribal percussion reverberating from the electrically vibrating rain forest, echoes from space, strange and unusual music not quite from this world, fluid fairytales, passion, temptation, ritual ecstasy, obscuration and revelation, and other oddities – it's all in here. Welcome to a subtle dislocation off the norm.

If you’ve never been to Oven Club, the Valencia venue’s list of talented regulars should give you a hint at the kind of place it is. On a busy night, they play to a crowd of 200 dancers, most of whom are knowledgeable club kids from all over Valencia. It’s one of the few places on Spain’s southeastern coast where world-class DJs are invited to spin until sunrise, making its cultural impact all the more significant.

Oven Club founder and resident Pin curated a mix of understated house and electro cuts to represent the sound of the venue.

His contribution to the Breathecast has truly lifted our sullen spirits and as brief glimmers of blue sky start to cut through the grey gloom, HBDP’s selection helps to alleviate the relentless cravings for the return of sun-splattered ravey days.
