Having released on Mango's 'Mango Alley', Paul Hazendonk's 'MNL', Jelly For The Babies' 'One of A Kind' & Bondarev's 'WARPP', foglight's discography showcases his focus on quality over quantity. For his latest offering on our imprint, foglight delivers "Reformer" & "Circuit Valley", a pair of club-focused tracks with tech-inspired drums, gritty bassline sequences, subtle melodics, granular fx & a whole lot of finesse.

Label-boss Praveen Achary returns to Juicebox Music for a special appearance after his small break from producing. Striving to create something that sounds different from the norm & different from each production, Praveen's work on Juicebox Music has always had a slight edge, whether it's his remixes of Simos Tagias' "Black Swan" or Eric Lune's "Wooden Bird" or even his "Fiasco" collaboration with Aman Anand. An October 2016 debut saw Dmitry Molosh join the Proton Music roster with a sparkling remix of Navid Mehr. Going on to release a trio of original tracks in a 12-month period between late 2020 and 2021, "Little Friend", "Winds of Change" and "River Pond" showed the Belarusian star at the height of his production powers. Now returning with a fourth new original work, "Station" is a gloriously imagined deep and dark track that builds dynamically via a driving rhythmic backdrop and syncopated bass groove. Smooth melodic phases filter to the foreground in easy fashion with hi-hat urgency bringing dancefloor energy. Full of mesmerising dynamism and fizzing white-noise washes, "Station" is straight out of the Dmitry Molosh playbook on how to create modern progressive house with style and panache.

Sri Lankan born Dimuth K has been at the vanguard of underground house for almost a decade. Making a sizeable impression in March 2020 with the twin-track "Beams Aglow / Minesweeper" debut, a second musical diptych in late 2022 saw "The Shaman / Avalanche" as another powerful sonic statement. A single remix of Juan Deminicis in March 2022 is now followed by a trademark rich and hypnotic interpretation of "Station". With a slightly more uptempo vibe, courtesy of machine-gun fire shakers and heavy kick, Dimuth K provides dancefloor interest with a rolling bassline groove, while new melodic passages create a wonderful sonic tension in the early movements. Before long, a powerhouse interpretation takes centre stage as imaginative use of Dmitry Molosh's original parts, combined with layers of additional production from the Dimuth K studio create a sizzling pitched synth zenith, before dropping back into the earlier rhythmic melange in the final stages.

Igal Magitman has been at the centre of dance music industry with a captivating sound that has brought him success for over 15 years and more than 250 production credits. Over 30 of those credits have come on Proton Music with a storied portfolio that first saw work alongside Roman Brisker. 2008 saw the duo first make their debut for the label, before Magitman branched out on his own with "Cleaning Day" and "Recovery" in the mid-2010s. Returning with a pair of twin-track offerings in June 2021 and November 2023, "To the Mood and Back" and "Daybreak" saw a powerful vision of the Israeli's music including remixes from legendary figures, Jamie Stevens and D-Nox. Now remixing Dmitry Molosh, the Magitman rework is driven by a cone-melting bass groove and 24-carat melodic phrasing. Creating a dancefloor monster from the track's constituent parts, a stunning new earworm motif plays from the mid-point onwards as it filters in full sonic view from the breakdown onwards. Full of rhythmic poise and swathes of additional production work, Magitman is clearly still at the peak of his sizeable musical powers.

Arriving at the "Station" on board a dancefloor express train, Dmitry Molosh shows no signs of slowing down, ably abetted by Dimuth K and Magitman.

n artist with a diverse and storied relationship with the dance music scene, GMJ & Matter are proud to see Kasper Koman make his label debut with the twin-track “Sinking Sky / Biome”.

A veteran of more than a century of production credits dating back to a 2008 debut, Kasper Koman has seen his work signed to myriad high-profile labels including the likes of Plattenbank, Anjunadeep and Guy J’s Lost & Found. From central Netherlands, Kasper has combined trademark emotion with a powerful and evocative sound that has seen his music supported by such leading tastemakers as Guy Mantzur, Nick Warren, Hernan Cattaneo and Guy J himself.

Now debuting on Meanwhile, the “Sinking Sky” opener is characterised by a driving beat and metronomic hi-hat pattern. A running 16th note bassline pattern enters the fray in the second movement with a fizzing vibrancy provided by resonating and filtered effects. A cast of additional characters add to the overall sonic landscape including a beautifully juxtaposed pad progression. A spine-tingling breakdown provides acetylene-edged emotion via the extended bassline motif, before hitting its stride once more in the latter stages to wondrous effect and no small amount of production talent.

“Biome” continues the narrative of raw effects-laden power, while a strong kick lays the foundation for a piercing percussive groove, adding swing to the off-beat. A well-crafted sonic palette supplies a soft chord progression of Kraftwerk-inspired imagination as a meandering array of well-placed effects, white-noise washes and rasping bass notes create a mosaic of sounds. The result is a hypnotic, angular offering that keeps listener interest piqued without a central melody seeing the 6-minute piece fly past in an instant.

A welcome return to the world of progressive house sees Kasper Koman enchant and enthral with “Sinking Sky / Biome”.

Continuing to develop their core artists, Madloch's Sound Avenue welcomes Secretly Famous back to the label for their second artist EP. Hailing from Australia, the Secretly Famous production duo first emerged in 2021 on the strength of early offerings such as 'Chimera' and 'On Fire'. Noted for their ability to marry traditional and contemporary progressive sounds, the Secretly Famous duo was quickly tipped as a production team to watch going forward. The next three calendar years would see the Aussie duo continue to refine their sound, resulting in an aesthetic that was both groovy and melodic. Secretly Famous would begin their creative partnership with Sound Avenue in 2022, in the form of a well-received debut via label affiliate Future Avenue, a two-track EP which would go on to yield twenty-five additional appearances across the Belgian label collective. Perhaps none more impactful was the duo's Sound Avenue debut, a progressive take on ‘One Word' by Estonian duo about : river, a project which landed with a resounding thump just over a year ago. The first quarter of 2024 was highlighted by ‘Yeon', the duo's first artist EP for Sound Avenue, ultimately setting the stage for their latest vehicle ‘Outlive', a five-track showcase which takes a deeper look into the duo's far-reaching repertoire.
