This was our first experience recording directly to 2” Tape, using an entirely analog setup at the wonderful Treehouse Records. We loved the vintage process and are psyched for everyone to hear it.

It is one of the earliest TP songs, essentially a lost number from the Sunken days. It's a song loosely born around the movie True Romance, but upon its revival was also inspired by current events in our country. Jah Bless the Guap.

Sweet '17 is a singles series we'll be releasing from next month through the end of the year. Given our demanding touring schedule, we figured a good way to release new music without having to carve out the time to record a full length LP between tours would be to track whenever we could find the time, and release the music in a series of singles.
