So, you may not be able to get away from that life of yours right this minute...but you can certainly feel like you have! Imagine, for a moment, you're driving, alone, on a wide open road. Trees are plentiful, the sun is everywhere, an abundance of beauty and wildlife, and you...just thinking. Your mind is clear, your heart is light, you think of the many reasons your life is awesome and smile your brightest smile...such a beautiful, simplistic ambiance.

On The Road Again...

Beginning with a mellow, almost melancholy introduction, the most alluring part of this song is its slow progression into an overall happier vibe. It's as though it is written from the view of someone who takes a drive to contemplate the many ills of life, but after a little time to think, realizes that their life is beautiful as is. Culminating in the elegant, string-filled bridge, the track itself seems to guide your journey through darkness, ultimately planting it in the sunniest place. The track then quietly tapers off leaving listeners with a new sense of joy and appreciation.

If walls could talk what would they say?
Would they cry out from the pain they hold inside?

Would they peel and shed the skin of their past owners’ lives?
Would they reverberate from laughter?
Would they crack open screaming and spewing their decay?

If walls could talk, would they call for a doctor to heal their pain, to bandage their wounds, to cover their ugliness and uselessness?

And would the doctor say
Take it out.  Dig down into the foundation and get to the root of the problem.  Might have to go into the ceiling and the floor.

It walks could talk would they tell your secrets and mine?
It walls could talk would they grab a mic and say hey look at me!

I am cracking and peeling my guts out, my life is wide open.
They can see my bones, my crumbling and rotting foundation.

And when new owners call for the wall to come to life, then repairs can begin.
The sanding and scraping to get a smooth surface 
The putty, the hammering, the mounting of sheet rock, 

The rebuilding and re-enforcing so that if a wall could talk

It would say welcome home

It is safe to come inside.

A candid track that deals with the subject of addiction and its many associated issues, this is the kind of eye-opening track that can take the world by storm. Thought provoking and purposeful, this song effortlessly tackles a taboo topic that most artists tend to stay away from at all costs due to its sheer deplorability. Impressively, the duo managed to make it both complex and catchy making it the perfect track to handle such a delicate subject matter. Reminiscent of the James Brown era (in which issues like this were routinely discussed and written about), this track does an excellent job at giving the listeners something that is both current and timeless.

The track itself is a hit even before the lyrics are heard.
