🙋🏻‍♀️ Hi friends & happy new year to you all! 🤗 I've returned from my 6 week tour in India and what a crazy journey it was. Many ups and downs along the way but some great memories to behold. 

Last month my 62nd episode & year end birthday edition of Undercurrents aired on DIFM with my very special guest and dear friend @audioglider aka Roberto Sodano. He was the first artist I asked to remix Light Sweeper back in 2020 (before it ever had a title and long before it was signed to @balance-series) & he delivered a beautiful one, incorporating my original vocal and since then it's been such a pleasure getting to know him through his immense and wonderful discography & superb english charm! We are delighted and honoured that our friend, Canadian DJ/producer Bryan Wolf Ear, agreed to make us this exclusive mix! As many of you are aware, Bryan laid down a killer set for us at Institution, right here in Winnipeg, in 2022.

As the driving force behind Canadian record label Strange Town Recordings, Wolf Ear is a champion of the underground music scene. Under his guidance, the label is responsible for introducing some of the brightest new names in progressive house and techno. For over 20 years, Bryan has honed his craft as a DJ, sharing the stage with Internationally acclaimed artists such as Booka Shade, Miss Melera, Pole Folder and Isolée. The Canadian-born Montréaler produces cutting edge dance music with music partner Torsten Fassbender (under the moniker ‘Wolf Ear & Fassbender’). The duo has gained support from a variety of legendary performers, and recently released a mix for the venerable Balance Series. Bryan holds a residency at the renowned Le Salon Daomé and hosts a radio-show ‘Strange Town Frequencies’ broadcasted monthly on Proton Radio.

Underground Colombo (UC) was envisioned by Kushan Dissanayake, and his co-founder, Kasun Dissanayake, who is known as Kais D. This dynamic duo, driven by their shared passion for underground music, embarked on this journey together in 2016.

Inspired by the vibrant energy of Sri Lanka's music scene, they had a vision—to cultivate a close-knit community that immersed itself in the rhythms they cherished. Alongside them was their best friend, Buddika Wijebandara, forming an unbreakable trio.

Their first step was the establishment of a Facebook community, a digital haven for kindred spirits, which rapidly flourished and now boasts a dedicated following of 15,000 strong. But that was only the beginning.

Determined to take their passion to the next level, they decided to launch their own SoundCloud page. This expansion was made possible with the unwavering support of Azmara Veera, a pivotal figure in UC's journey. She, along with the team, contributed creative forces that allowed UC to venture into new territories. 

However, UC isn't solely about music; it's a dynamic, all-encompassing experience. They added a unique visual and editorial flair to UC, making it an aesthetic delight.
