From the VACT vs Amoeba Macro-EP "RimoVube" (lockedGrooveRecordings) recorded / edited possibly in 2004. Originally a 33:33 minute track, the recording process was saved on a chain of 7 100mg Zip-Discs. Corruption of these disks (did i leave them on top of a speaker?) meant that what you hear now (Half the time) is the only available document of this recording/ edit session that was salvageable.
Excerpts from "Last-Track" Jam sessions from Amoeba's "Dossier no.1" and "Portable Muzak" albums, were cut up and re-assembled through Cool-edit, then fed back through a Synthi AKS, with a Modified Speak and Spell machine doing back-up treatments. In hindsight, this is a 7 year old re-recording of Amoeba's drone/experiments that were at the time, already 3 years old.
For preservation sake, Amoeba were Justin Mc Arthur (Lets be Modern/A.O.M.M/Mercury Transmissions/Amoeba Muzak) &amp; James Carpenter (The Amoeba Industry/A.O.M.M/Vact). Also Additional Personnel on the source material were Belinda Mckay (wind instruments), Zarah Witzmann (triangle) ,Okami (barking) , Tim Gaze (Final edit Words) and the broken analogue orchestra.
