This time - we are more than happy to present you an exclusive mix by a true legend in the international electronic music scene: Electric Indigo. Susanne Kirchmayr aka Electric Indigo enriched this mix with 3 unreleased productions of herself. Her name stands for the intelligent and distinguished interpretation of techno and electronic music. The depth and clarity of vision in her selection derives from a deep understanding of machine induced rhythm and the soul of techno music. 

Electric Indigo started her DJ career in Vienna in 1989 and lived in Berlin for three years (1993-1996) to work at the legendary Hard Wax record store. In those years, she also began to produce her own music, first releases came out in 1993. Designed and founded by Electric Indigo in 1998, female:pressure, an international database and network for female DJs, producers, and visual artists in the fields of electronic music, can be considered a technological answer to the recurring complaints about the alleged lack of female artists in this field. In 2002 she discovered her passion for experimental music and started to play live shows as well. Meanwhile, she gives concerts in the realms of avant-garde as well as club music. 

At this years "Steirischer Herbst" Festival in Graz you will have the next opportunity to hear and feel one of her recent sound installations (http://www.steirischerherbst.at/2014/deutsch/programm/65-lets-merry-go-round.php). On October 11th, 2014 you can dance to an Electric Indigo dj set at Berlin's Berghain club once again. Don't miss.
