We Are V is a five-piece Alternative Hip Hop/Rock group that blends contemporary rock and hip hop sounds with strong funk rhythms and killer horns.

Straight out of Brooklyn, NY, the band features producer Preach Gold on lead vocals, Swift Fresh on vocals, Jah on piano and keyboards, LA Jones on bass, and two drummers -Royal Bugg and Conceptz. Their songs highlight political and social issues that resonate with the youth of today, with diverse musical influences that range from Stevie Wonder, Bootsy Collins, Sly and the Family Stone, The Ohio Players and The Temptations to Buddy Rich, Oscar Peterson, Miles Davis, Michael Jackson and Jay Z. All seasoned players in their own right, their combined experience has had them playing with some of rap and hip hop’s finest at one time or another, and together they have shared stages with A$AP Rocky, Ryan Leslie and Mack Wilds, and have backed up major artists including Joe Budden, K Michelle, Fabolous, Hezekiah Walker, Eric Benet, Estelle, Tori Kelly, Michelle Williams and Lil’ Kim. A musical powerhouse that defies current genre demarcations, their tagline is Be Inspired, Then Inspire.
