DJ Brad Rhodes is known for playing uncompromising genre spanning vinyl sets around New England since the late 1980s. He specializes in mixing postpunk, minimal synth, underground wave and industrial/EBM as well as many other styles of dark dance music. 
Currently host/DJ of SUBCULTURE, a weekly all-vinyl show on Twitch, he has held long standing DJ residencies at such legendary clubs as ManRay (Boston) and Club Hell (Providence) with guest DJ gigs at Albion/Batcave in NYC, Convergence I in Chicago and other events around the USA.  
An early adopter of techno/industrial crossover he loves to take listeners on a journey across multiple genres!

A year in sound kicks off with a summer mix. 

It was an interesting task to put together a new summer mix this time around. Summer for me has always meant travel and often times road trips. So I went back and listened to a couple mix tapes from the late eighties and nineties when vacation miles on four wheels was more frequent in my life. In those mix tapes miles move fast, the pace didn't let up and holy crap was I listening to a lot of the Jesus and Mary Chain. I sifted through some of the old tracks and added many more that I've collected over the years.
