Collect Beats is all about finding the magic that lies in the meditative state of mind that shrouds you when listening to carefully sampled loops and delightful soundscapes. The handpicked contributing artists are those of who we found this kind of magic in their creations, all coming from different backgrounds but the shivers down your spine is the same. 

While we truly believe all the beatmakers in this compilation are driven by fresh attitude and forward thinking, the two sides of the album showcase the diversity in the artists’ mindscapes. We like to imagine “Side A” as the adventurer eat-it-all youngster pulling the carpet under your fit, spending his time in his stereo laboratory putting his focus on synthesizing the next thing you’ve never heard before. Then we’ve got “Side B”, the older brother that puts the effort on the capturing nostalgic atmospheres in quality that ‘they just don’t do anymore”, living side by side to the analog hiss, dazed off by old R’n’B vinyls spinning in his bedroom, a spliff in his hand, door closed.

he idea behind Collect Beats is to gather up our favorite underground beatmakers from all around the world and tie their creations together by strings of common vibes to arouse mutual inspiration and creative innovation. Making a sincere effort in pushing forward underrated talents, and exposing new listeners to the raw beauty of beatmaking.

After a short hiatus from releases; Future Beats Records are elated to unveil L X X K // L X S T X N EP from the talented beatmaker @Invention.

Releasing several beat tapes since his 'Hallucinature' project on FBR; avid nature-lover from Ontario, Canada; Invention is back!

Working off Ableton and a simple Korg SP-170S keyboard in tandem with a nanoKontrol 2, Invention often ventures out into the forest to record ambient sounds with a ZOOM H4n and a pair of Beyerdynamic DT 880's strapped over his head.

“Let Me Walk: 18 Instrumental Pieces” is the new release from Swiss producer, Boom. The project is about liberation and being your true self.

This project is dedicated to everyone who makes music, loves music and needs music. 

Most songs were produced during the grey winter in Copenhagen, Denmark.

The message, whatever you do and you like, don’t worry about other people and what they think. Their opinion shouldn’t stop you, I ask Let Me Walk, and also encourage others to Walk On. 


This project only happened because Boom walked the way he walked; he learned music the way he learned. His roots in hip hop, vinyl collecting and sampling inspired him to explore the sounds of the 1960s and 70s. 

Thanks to my family, to my friends, to Dennis for his collaboration on the first track, Stuart for the drums on track 13, to J-Zone for his crazy lunch breaks, Freshtone, Basic for the artwork and all the people who are supporting me for what i'm doing.
