I worked on this a ton during the later part of my semester and really enjoyed working with it. If you've heard close enough (YOU SHOULD!!) you can probably tell it's slowed down a bit, and I really liked that change of pace for this song. phritz is a huge inspiration to my music and is a super talented artist, so making this was so much more than another project. i finished writing lifeline on the 9th of april 2020. this was just after a rather dark time where i had gone through significant life changes, during which i realised a lot about who i am as a person. this is one of my favourite songs, and although i was in a dark place at the time of writing this, hearing back on it now brings me peace, knowing i'm out of what i was once trapped in.
