A pioneer of the sound that he described as “Neo-Vorkir” the prolific 0L0R1N grew to prominence in early 2012 with his instant cult classic  “Bloody Camera.” The dark undertones of the lyrical content paint vivid imagery of dim castle walls and a bright, crystalline pain a cut above anything else of its time. With features from a young Luca Jaillet and the lesser known CHRXST_EATER, OLOR1N never underperforms his features but he utilizes them so well that their verses often feel as important as his own. The title track and the smash hit that brought 0L0R1N into the public eye is a visceral document of his own suicide attempt told from the perspective of his mother. Musically, the songs alternate between aggressive prototypes of the genre that would soon be known as emo trap and uncomfortably spare ballads that pluck at your heart as well as your mind. Possibly the most influential artist of his genre, 0L0R1N’s music is only now being recovered after unfortunate copyright scandals in 2013 as well as his sudden and unexplained disappearance.
