getting a little confused over the term " AI " I sometimes use midi gen progs to trigger VST's .... Some godawful noises ensue I can assure you !! !!   I edit, I tune I mix and I tweak .. Seems pleasing  to me if any  make it to a final track ... Mostly they don't ... The adventure is the drug for me ... I determine that the second I start to feel a finished track it can no longer be considered " AI '

I love to receive stems from my good friend Gina . I have worked semi-AI for years now and the tech is screaming ahead of our ability to keep up !! I don't know what on earth the furore is and objection to AI is ?? When I play guitar and idly thrum and twang I usually try and think of a combination of chords that I know perfectly well are conventionally incompatible .. If the muse strikes I can usually arrange in a form that suggests conformity ( formulaic and cliched ) .. When I generate midi automatically I have to tune edit and arrange to suit my taste ... They are tools .. wood strings and blistered fingers .... Computers software and clever programs .... They are both the same ok :) .. what is created still comes out of my head ... Wait until the smart kids get it !!!!!!! On :)

I generate midi using Wotja . it has no real definitive templates as such . there are no lowest common denominator or highest common factor buttons . ie .. no......."like Taylor swift "soundalikes . as much as I would love to have that kind of talent and loveliness I have to be honest .... I do not ha ha Russell :)
