I love to receive stems from my good friend Gina . I have worked semi-AI for years now and the tech is screaming ahead of our ability to keep up !! I don't know what on earth the furore is and objection to AI is ?? When I play guitar and idly thrum and twang I usually try and think of a combination of chords that I know perfectly well are conventionally incompatible .. If the muse strikes I can usually arrange in a form that suggests conformity ( formulaic and cliched ) .. When I generate midi automatically I have to tune edit and arrange to suit my taste ... They are tools .. wood strings and blistered fingers .... Computers software and clever programs .... They are both the same ok :) .. what is created still comes out of my head ... Wait until the smart kids get it !!!!!!! On :)

I was at school in the 60's we were told that in the future we would become so mechanised and advances in electronics and comms systems would be so wondrous that we all would not need to work any more than about 18 hrs a week !!!They did not factor in the selfish greedy hungry and paranoid nature of man !! Im retired now and the time I spent at work at one point was around 60/70 hrs per week a 2/3's of them backshift and  nightshifts ... I wrote noises and read  on my nightshifts and filled  my contractual obligations to the minimum ... ie I fairly took the piss :) You steal my time Ill help myself to your conscience etc R :)

from the Gun Urrainn archives ... I keep meaning to post them all but its like a mountain to climb .... This sticks in my head as something to worry about ... If only because something unpleasant happened to me that day ... I was listening to a girl from London who wrote the most beautiful and original music . I contacted her via soundcloud ... I received the most vile insulting and abusive text back ... After double taking the text I thought without much conviction " Someones is off their meds  ??... Curiosity and pure stalking made me investigate further ...  An academic ... musically trained ... a bit self indulgent and pretentious ... none of this unforgivable or unusual in this line of etc ... Whilst trying to placate and trying to plead friendliness more bile was bombing down on me ... I ran, I bolted I got off as quick as I could ...  It left me with that feeling in the pit of my stomach I had done something terribly terribly wrong to  illicit such a reaction ... Ultimately I had to sadly concede .. a pretentious twatess that better hope never to get stuck in a lift with me otherwise she will  still be in therapy in the afterlife ... There vent vented and the world put to rights ha ha . R :)
