Down The Road

I decided to take this in a slightly different direction and lighten the tense feel of the original.
I wanted to give the vocals a bit more focus and put the horns to more use.
After much passing  between ideas I decided to combine and make them one.
What starts out as an old school hip hop joint moves into a crunchy reggae dancer.
There is a lot of original KJ recorded material in this rebuild (dudek, keys, drums, vibes, guitar, organ etc) as that's my style ;)
I had a blast working on this.
