My hard drive crashed and these are the only files I have backed up from the project I was working on. Only about a third of these beats are 75% of the way complete. Some need better sounds, some need complete arrangement, and only a few have been mixed. But I wanted to share the progress and put an end to Chapter 1 of this journey.

{On Read}
- Had to start with a vibe. Chill Mix on Apple Music is my go-to playlist and inspired me to create something I feel could match the energy I got when listening.

{all we wanna do is}
- Hopped into my loop bag on this one. It felt so simple and natural. BARS could be laid on this by a storyteller like DS moke

{plygrnd}
- Literal title as I got a new pack and decided to play around with various samples. I want to incorporate live drum sounds more often.

{Box Out}
- The first of a few Boom Bap attempts. I can hear Logic all over this one.

{Everytime}
- Another Boom Bap joint. Feeling this one a lil more. I could definitely hear Dreamville spitters like Lute and Omen skating on it.

{iNEED2}
- If you haven't heard The Kount you're missing out. All of the sounds in this beat are samples from various Kount sample packs to create a new grove. Was working on another vibe using Kount packs but lost it.

{Ride}
- Don Toliver type beat. This is one that I wanted to work on more to add more variation.

{LOADED}
- Felt a Donda vibe while putting this together. Very incomplete.

{The Plan: OG Mac}
- Inspiration in the title. Putting out a Mac tape is one of production goals. Still my favorite artist even after death. #reigninparadise

{Ignite}
- Made this FOREVERRR ago but I had a habit of not finishing one beat before starting others.

{CRAZY}
- Wish I would've gotten around to mixing this one.

{A Day In The Life}
- I pictured walking the sidewalks in the city, headphones on, moderate head nod, just chillen. Add in a lil trippy and it's a good day.

{A Case Of The Nerves}
- My feelings with this beat were mix. Not confused but not sure of where it was going, yet intrigued all at once. Your nerves can only take you where you lead them.

{Camcorder}
- Need a holiday interlude, I got you.

{Sacrifice}
- Sent this to my brother and he was pumped I started incorporating more 808s. Definitely something I've carried into 2 of this beat making journey.

Similar to W&H5 V1, all files (everything except MP3/WAV files I'd sent to my email to listen in the car)were lost when my external hard drive crashed in the beginning of 2022. After it crashed, I didn't make new music for 2 months. Since starting back up, I found these drafts further down in my email and decided to share with you all. 

Unfortunately, no track by track description on this project because I have ZERO clue where my headspace was in production of these beats. What I do know is that I really like a good portion of the 25 tracks. Some of you out there may feel the same way I feel and others may prefer the other joints I'm not really fond of. 

But that's for YOU to decide!
