The Story Behind 1Spike

A few years ago I had a very close call with death.
Long story cut short, I ended up in hospital with a fractured skull & bleeding on my brain.

I have been writing my own songs for many years, but I never thought of putting them online.

To be honest with you
I was happy enough playing my guitar and singing my songs in the house to myself or my kids. lol

So anyway after I got out of hospital, I thought to myself, I will put a few of my songs online.

MAKE THE MOST OF LIFE YOUR A LONG TIME DEAD.

Life can all be over before you know it, Scary thought or what???  I honestly said to myself, if I upload some of the songs online, and a few people hear my songs, and if just 1 of my songs might mean something to someone, other than me, I will die a happy man. ?

To my amazement and disbelief, in about the space of 10 months to a year, I had over 3 Million people listen to my songs world wide. I was even having people that this world would consider, being famous people, sending me personal messages of encouragement, telling me they had listened to my songs.(Wow) I can't put into words to tell you, just how much of a great encouragement that was for me, as it came at a time, when I needed so badly, to be encouraged.

I also gained a fan base of thousands of people that I email and keep up to date about my songs. (Wow) You could not make a story like that up in your wildest dreams.

I didn't tell you my story to boast, impress, or be proud. I told you it because, You might be reading this right now, and your life is Fractured, right now, only your Fracture, isn't bones.

Please, Please, Please, Don't Give Up, you really don't know, what might be around the corner for you. When I was laying in that hospital bed, attached to machines and drips, with the mother of all head aches?? I can honestly tell you, not once, did I think, I would be doing, what I am doing, 3 years later? 

I have learned this much,

You just don't know what is on the path
Life is going to take you down.
Try your best to enjoy your life,
