Mind Revolution

1000facez is a project of Chisinau (Republic of Moldova). The basis for the 1000facez' musical direction is punk rock in all its forms, with the addition of ska, reggae, pop, metal, folk and disco. The main feature of their creativity is the infinite joy and the main themes for their songs are: saving the world in which we live, the devaluation of material values, equality and booze, of course. 
The new EP out 03/06/2016. 1000facez' latest drunken release "Songs about Peace, Alcohol and Happiness!" is finally upon us. From the opening notes of this masterpiece you can hear those dudes do mean business and are here to stay. It's the band's attempt to mix all that goodness that punk, indie, folk and avant-garde has to offer. And boy do they succeed at it! Those alcoholics picked up where against me! Joyce Manor and the Smith Street Band left off and took it to a whole another level with their creative sound approach. If you're a fan of good old Rancid and Tim Armstrong's voice, you're going to love "Call Me" right away. It has a powerful social message behind it, that is so valuable in the punk community. It the first listen, you can't help but grab a beer and dance to this redneck piece of music. 
The "Glossines" intro with its acoustic powerchords delivers the anarchic youthfulness that Anti-Flag listeners could relate to. The song then develops into a fast melodic hardcore that we all know and love. Behind the violent screams you can hear the singer's sincerity and a sense of belief in his craft. This is by far the most heavy song on this EP. 
"Sound" is an experimental tune in the spirit of Frank Zappa, which is very difficult to categorize or put a label on. Those who like Thrice will get it. The song is pretty much what the title suggests; you need to listen to it in order to get it. Isn't that what music is about? 
"Mind Revolution" is a smart way to end a journey. It sums up the band ideology, resolves the conflict and leave the listener with a pleasant resolution.

1000facez - Sunt Moldovean

Punk/Alternative/Indie trio from Moldova. The basis for the 1000facez' musical direction is punk rock in all its forms, with the addition of ska, reggae, pop, metal, folk and disco. The main feature of their creativity is the infinite joy and the main themes for their songs are: saving the world in which we live, the devaluation of material values, equality and booze, of course. 
1000facez' history begins around 2013, when two friends, Lega and Denis, decided to form an acoustic duo, just for fun, but with a distinctive rough and angry sound. The result was an acoustic punk-reggae-country salad. At the time, the acoustic sound was, kind of, outdated, so, after a while, it was decided to make a turn towards electronic music. The outcome could be, more or less, categorized as an unique integration of EDM elements into punk rock and pop music with the combination of clean and screamed vocals.
In August 2014, they released the "Glossiness" single together with a band from St. Petersburg, Anonyms. Later that year, in October, "Robokingdom" is being released, their first EP. Here are a few words about it from Neufutur Magazine: "1000facez has just released a collection of their songs with the Robokingdom EP; during the album's five cuts, listeners will be provided with considerable variation in overall sound. The one thing that is constant from beginning to end is how fleshed-out the tracks are; this is a cohesive and a coherent effort from stem to stern. Robokingdom is a track that links together goth, industrial, and alternative rock into a frenetic and energetic effort". 
That same year, Lega and Denis met the third member of the band, Jack the drummer. This is when 1000facez make a confident decision in favor of a heavier sound, by getting rid of part of the EDM samples and by implementing the spirit of 70-80's into their songwriting process in small doses.
