One of the most eagerly anticipated electronic albums of 2012 is finally released! After a series of groundbreaking singles: Pain In the Ass, Im Week and Ghetto Kraviz (featured here) Muscovite Nina Kraviz is set to release her eponymously titled debut artist album on Radio Slaves superb Rekids imprint. Ninas album is a combination of stripped-bare house, deepest Detroit sounds via beautifully ambient pockets and more soul infused slo-mo jams, all coated with an authentic analogue finish and Nina exquisite vocals. The music is emotive and engaging, whilst being something truly original and inspirational. The album features collaborations with Hard Ton and King Aus. Playing out like a full artistic statement rather than just a collection of tracks, the odd time signatures, innocent and waify vocals, muted acid lines and hypnotic loops layered up by Nina all work subtly at pulling you into her world. A superbly, executed and accomplished debut album that has already set the bar high for electronic albums this year.

i_o emerged out of nowhere in December 2017 with the slurry sleuther "Warning" on mau5trap's We Are Friends, Vol. 7 compilation, quickly following that up with the prog-infused Tommy Trash collaboration "Oxygen," and finally a Virtual Self remix for Jauz's Bite This Xmas Compilation. That all happened within three weeks of his artistic debut, so naturally we wondered what was going on, and started trying to make contact with the enigmatic i_o.

Over the past five months no artist has had a bigger launch in electronic music than i_o. After releasing a Tommy Trash collaboration on Spinnin’, three tracks on Mau5trap, and solo releases on Jauz’s Bite This and Andrew Rayel’s In Harmony, there is no denying the production talent and incredible output of the LA based producer. Sitting on a fat stack of IDs and with on point branding, there’s no doubt i_o will go down as one of 2018’s hottest acts. He’s already graced Beyond Wonderland’s stage and has more big DJ dates on the way. With a unique soundscape that brings techno to the masses, we were thrilled to get a loaded Exclusive Mix!
