On Monday, August 31, 2015, Erin Jones suffered from 2 blood clots in her brain, resulting in a stroke.
Early that morning, like every other morning, Erin was taking her dog, Woodson, out to go potty. She was blindsided by this medical emergency and her faithful dog stayed by her side until help arrived. Erin was rushed to Mercy Hospital then transferred to Rockford Memorial Hospital, which has a certified Primary Stroke Center. 
After a few weeks of being unresponsive, Erin has started to make some progress. She was transferred to a rehabilitation facility in Waukesha and will need extensive physical and speech therapy. 
Being only 30 years old and otherwise healthy, the next few months are crucial for her. The brain can do incredible things after trauma and we hope that in time, Erin is able to be the same girl that we all know and adore. Until then, lets please use this page to share photos, well wishes, and love as we fully intend on sharing this with her.
