This song is not inspired by the Covid rules....  or maybe just a little bit in my subconsciousness. It's about an old man waiting for family to come and visit but they never do. His wife died years ago. Waiting for years in his chair trying to amuse himself but inspiration drips away. Waiting for his family and waiting for the end. He doesn't care anymore. He is waiting for the day they will take him to heaven.

This song is about musicians like Elvis Presley. Time is not on their side. Some can't handle the pressure an need medicines and drugs to go to sleep and again to live the day and perform.

I remember walking with my mother and grandmother in Haarlem, Netherland in the shoppingstreet. There was a tv hanging on the wall outside a record store. When we passed by we saw on that television that Elvis Presley had died. I will remember that moment for the rest of my life.

The Blues

I always wanted to write and record my solo music. When covid 19 prevented us from playing with the band I started building my homestudio and started recording my songs in the smallest studio in the world, My homestudio in the garage. As times go by thing are getting better and better, but........
1. I am no drummer so I use software based drums
2. I am no guitarist, only basic skills 
3. I am no keyboard player, one finger at the time.
4. I am absolutely no vocalist, period
