Paradisia Vol. ♾ is the 4th instalment of the compilation series, celebrating 8 years of the label and featuring 16 tracks.

It has been curated by Sabla, co-founder of the label, who has selected unreleased contributions from a wide range of modern shamans like Kelman Duran, Azu Tiwaline, D.K., Don’t Dj, BZMC, Katatonic Silentio, Piezo, Stenny, Black Seeds, Polygonia, Dj Eminflex and Sara Berts, Regno Maggiore, Nick Foglia, XIII and Mana.

Vol .♾ sets out to create a boundless reality over the ordinary world, through the exploration of the measurable and the unmeasurable within our physical and metaphysical experience.
Music influences, geographic coordinates, bodies and minds mesh up in a single entity, shaping a psychoactive landscape ready to be traversed though multiple dimensions.

Artificial Dance is very happy to announce that we’ve spent a wealth of time going through the archived recordings of Richard Zeilstra, AKA Genetic Factor. Richard was a pivotal figure in the Amsterdam new wave and avant-garde pop music circles. Besides hosting the ever-influential Spleen and Radionome radio shows on the VPRO he also found time to conduct his own audible experiments. As a firm believer of music by non-musicians Richard has made the effort throughout the last decades to keep on recording in a variety of different guises on different parts of the planet. In these different times and places, the genetic factor was always there. We are happy to announce that we will release a limited edition sampler 12” vinyl before the end of the year. The sampler contains 2 songs from a forthcoming 2x12" full-length archival compilation and 2 exclusives. The archival compilation will see the day of light in 2022. Fully endorsed and in collaboration with Richard, compiled by Olf van Elden & Robert Bergman.

OS Premiere: Interstellar Funk - The Helium Queen [Dekmantel]

Upon meeting some years ago in Berlin, Galina & Andreina connected creatively and embarked on a musical voyage. These are studio recordings from Xberg in 2018, at a time when they gave life and animation to a beautiful and young electronic music scene.

Sono I’imperatore is a special three track EP from Eva Geist & Chikiss featuring artwork from Marius Houschyar.

After having made one studio-album, and two Live-DVDs and albums with Lisa Gerrard, Klaus Schulze thought it was time to give the world back the “pure” Klaus Schulze again.

Having been invited by his big Japanese Fan, Mr. Gen Fujita, he and his crew flew to Tokyo to play his very first solo concerts since November 2003. The concerts in Tokyo in March 2010 were remarkable for many reasons. First of all, the Japanese crew rebuilt Klaus‘ legendary and extraordinary equipment exactly the same way as you can see it at his European concerts.  Considering the fact that this equipment includes a lot of rare instruments and devices, the Japanese crew did a great job. Secondly, the concert itself contained some surprises: It was the first time that Klaus Schulze rebuilt and remodeled his classic “Crystal Lake” (original released 1977 on the album “Mirage”), renamed here as: “The Crystal Returns”. Also astonishing was the fact that Klaus played electric guitar on the track, “Sequencers Are Beautiful” - of course in his own, totally unconventional way.

In all, these were breathtaking concerts that combined Klaus’ tradition and vision: You will love the sequencer-sounds as well as the new components. And of course, the DVD gives you the perfect vision of these intense and atmospheric performances.

“Big In Japan” had already been released in Japan as a box-set, limited to 500 copies.

This European version is slightly different: The track “Sequencers Are Beautiful” (in the Japan-Edition only available on DVD) can be found here as the second track on the first CD. Along with a new stylish package, these historic moments are now available for every Klaus Schulze fan!

Letter To A Cosmic Adress (I.M. Edgar Froese)

 From the 2015 album Firmamentum - Edgar passed away on 20 Jan 2015.

After the initial take of this small tribute to the late Edgar Froese, composed and produced in some haste after his passing, this version uses some landmark early Tangerine Dream sound colours, too... re-created as closely as possible.

I was a teenager living in a totalitarian regime, when Edgar's music entered my difficult to describe everyday reality... 
It grabbed me and propelled me to such distances that my everyday reality not only became, alas temporarily, some distant strange memory - but also, that reality was made to seem wholly insignificant... in the best possible sense.
For that escapism, helped by his impossible to describe imagination, I remain forever grateful.

This is a tiny, infinitesimal tribute - and as he put it, there is no death... only a change in our cosmic address.

Re-Release of Klaus Schulze’s “Androgyn” (originally released 2002 as part of the strictly limited and long exhausted 5CD Boxset “Contemporary Works II”).

The first track on “Androgyn” has again, like on “Another Green Mile”, the cello of Wolfgang Tiepold and some odd voice samples added to interesting synth sounds. The long second track has Klaus on electric guitar and for good reason it's called "Back To The Future": Klaus plays the guitar with a "Gleiteisen", a piece of iron that he used in the "cosmic slide guitar technique" from old Ash Ra Temple times, 32 years ago. The next four tracks belong together. "There's No Mystery" has a voice and the adequate and efficient cello again...and of course it has Klaus' famous string accord in the back; you already heard it on Another “Green Mile” and can hear it again on further albums. As “Androgyn” comes to it's end it gets more rythmic. For the final title "This House Full Of Shadows" I noticed at first listening: "Will be liked by the people". We hear again Wolfgang Tiepold's expert cello. (KDM, 2002)

The bonus track “A Tiny Violin” is a rare beautiful pearl from the 10thCD “Adds & Edits” of the limited wooden boxset “Contemporary Works I”. On violin: Thomas Kagelmann.
After the successful releases of “U.S.O. Privée” and “Another Green Mile” MIG-Music proudly lifted another nugget of Klaus Schulze. We will continue to discover further gems!

From its creation in the late 90s until its closure in 2009, the Toytronic label witnessed a digital revolution that transformed the record industry, turning glitch into a production tool for a whole generation heir to the of bleep ‘n’ bass sound.

Thanks to their impeccable A&R credentials, its head honchos, Martin Haidinger and Chris Cunningham, created an incredible IDM label catalogue, as well as producing their own material under pseudonym Abfahrt Hinwil.
 
Their only album to date ‘Links Berge Rechts Seen’ [Toytronic, 2002] was released as a compilation featuring tracks from their brief career that over the years has become a benchmark for the Toytronic sound. This album included their first –and only– three releases signed to Expending Records and Toytronic, and also included two previously unreleased songs: ‘Planquadrat’ and a hidden track at the end of the CD version.

Lapsus proudly presents ‘Links Berge Rechts Seen’, which will be released on vinyl for the first time as part of our 'Perennial Series'. The collector’s format marbled 2LP will be accompanied by a double-sided lithographic print, which includes a unique and exclusive interview from Martin and Chris, talking to prestigious electronic music journalist Philip Sherburne.

ASH RA TEMPEL, the veterans of the German "Berlin School", gained worldwide recognition with their album releases 1971-1973.

Their self-titled debut-album from1971, in the line-up Hartmut Enke (bass), Manuel Göttsching (guitar), Klaus Schulze (drums), radically deconstructed elements of Rock and Blues, as it was combining electronic sounds to encourage new listening habits.

Whilst Göttsching and Schulze later followed their solo careers, they always stayed friends and, over the decades, showed their musical solidarity in collaborations, with innovative electronics and guitar.

But it was only in 2000, when they decided for this short intermezzo to perform together again under the Ash Ra Tempel banner.

Julian Cope (author of "Krautrock-Sampler") had invited Göttsching to his "Cornucopia Festival" in London, and the two musicians took the offer as a great opportunity for a 
one-time reunion concert at the Royal Festival Hall on April 2, 2000.

Preparing the music for this the concert had also led to a new studio album recording entitled "Friendship".

Both of the recordings, the studio album as well as the live recording from the London concert "Gin Rosé”, had been originally released in 2000 in a small edition, which was sold out very soon.

The studio-album "Friendship" had already been re-released in 2014 (CD).

Now, and due to the many requests, here it is again - after 20 years, the re-release of the long-awaited live-album "Gin Rosé".

Göttsching and Schulze blend tradition and vision, and they do not simply reanimate ideas of the 1970ies.

The spirit of this unique liaison is reflected in every single note of this still up-to-date concert, showing these two musicians playing joyful, familiar and undeterred.
