Little does anyone know, but Koji Kondo, the producer behind this masterpiece, recently gave an interview to an obscure Japanese game magazine, in which he said that he had indeed heard Yhap's track and really liked it. Koji had always wanted to add vocals to this particular track from the OST, but Nintendo prohibited him from doing so. He's glad that his vision had been realized almost 30 years later.
