what the hell lol I love listening to random mubi people sets on soundcloud

As usual it contains a bit of everything, simply all sorts of cute music I listened to from Jul2020 to Aug2021 (Yes it takes me one ducking year to put it together, but daddy I'm a MUBI critic with 42 followers - I'm entitled to do that QAQ).

I started the 'QRT' series simply because I thought it would be cute to put all of my favorite music I listened to during the lockdown in a tiny place. Never have I thought the series would last from Spring2020 to Autumn2021. As of 26 Aug 2021, Beijing life almost returns to the pre-pandemic, but I feel that I have been through a 20-months ongoing quarantine that won't end soon - I guess I would continue my 'QRT' series until I figure it out (hopefully soon).

The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere a new track from MY DISCO. Formed by Rohan Rebeiro, Benjamin Andrews and Liam Andrews in 2003, the trio is renowned for their experimentation and refined minimalist approach to dark and heavy instrumentation. Their upcoming LP ‘Alter Schwede’ present the band's recent trajectory of ambient experimentation, as well as continuing their interest in unique percussion, dark FM synthesis and industrial noise. Today we present the enigmatic sound of ‘Third Place’, out November 25th on Heavy Machinery Records.
