'The Story of Cuckoo' - Part 1

Cuckoo was an intimate Adelaide venue dedicated to underground electronic music from its inception in 2008 until its sudden closing in late 2014. During these years it was a vital artery to the beating heart of the local music scene.

This episode is part 1 of 2, dedicated to the music that defined the club, with Cuckoo co-owner Phildo sharing a compacted 2.5 hours that captures the essence of a night at Cuckoo from first drinks until the closing track.

Part 2 is a deep dive conversation with Phildo about Cuckoo and its story.
These two episodes aim to document an important chapter in the fabric of Adelaide's dance music story, and share the impact of Cuckoo's legacy. Enjoy

A very old track originally release digitally through Cuckoo Music. This re-work was put together for the Untzz lads 'Percussions' project, in which the tracks could only have one other element besides the Drum tracks.

This is just over 2 hours of Sanjii and Martin playing, not in any order, not '1 for 1' or even '2 for 2', just playing whenever and whatever they feel like.
