Hailing from Berlin duo Me And My Drummer release their sophomore album "Love Is A Fridge" in February 2016. In their first single "Blue Splinter View" singer Charlotte Brandi hauntingly depicts the end of a relationship subtly turning into a friendship. "Not because they don't love each other anymore, but because their love has transformed more into an asexual brother/sister relationship and could not keep up with the desires of the two kids", Brandi explains. "A song about spinning around your own axis in space."

Three years after the release of their highly respected debut album "The Hawk, The Beak, The Prey" this outstanding band looks back on a colourful as well as restless story. Now, with "Love Is A Fridge" they achieve new heights. "Blue Splinter View" pools a lot of what makes for the special nature of this record. Having released their latest album, FLOTUS, in November to critical acclaim including 'Albums of the Year' mentions in publications such as MOJO, Uncut, The Guardian and The Times; Lambchop is a Band have shared their cover of Prince's iconic 'When You Were Mine', recorded by the band's new live line up featuring Wye Oak's Andy Stack.

The track continues Kurt Wagner's exploration of R&B themes on FLOTUS with an underpinning current of subtle echoes and flourishing piano lines. The many moving parts are tied together by Wagner's skewed and distorted vocals to create a beautiful and intriguing take on the much covered track that stands it in a realm of its own.

Balthazar, the five piece fronted by the dual songwriting talents of Maarten Devoldere and Jinte Deprez, follow the release of their debut album in the UK, 'Rats', with a single release and tour dates in May and June. 'Sinking Ship' is taken from 'Rats' an album that Q suggested 'provides melancholy and melody to delight lovers of the dark and intense' in review.
