A hypnotic journey through deep house and tech house, blending dub-inspired grooves with melodic layers and lowkey electronic textures. Pulsing basslines and warm, deep male vocals float over subtle percussion, creating a sound that is both intimate and club-ready.

Echoing the atmospheric style of WhoMadeWho, Monolink, Booka Shade, Adana Twins and Solomun, Amtrac, this track moves between late-night introspection and dancefloor tension, where dub elements dissolve into melodic crescendos. 

While the influences range from synthpop and indie electronica to deep house, tech house and techno, the music always retains a clear signature – melancholic, textured, and unmistakably my own.

“Flyswatter 2025” is a rework of a track I wrote a quarter of a century ago and originally released under the name Arian Cerddor on Acquit Records (https://www.acq-music.ch). You can still find the original version on Bandcamp: https://acquitrecords.bandcamp.com/track/flyswatter

The title came from the snare drum, which always reminded me of a flyswatter ... simple as that! For this new version, I kept the snare as close to the original as possible while giving it a fresh, modern feel. The rest of the sounds are entirely new, since the old project file is long gone. My goal was to create something that nods to the late-90s / early-2000s era the original comes from, while still sounding current and alive in 2025.

A late night blend of quiet deep house, modern electronic pop, and melodic deep techno.
These tracks live on warm sub bass, soft pads, and patient, metronomic grooves, minimal enough to breathe and detailed enough to hold you. The sound favors restraint over spectacle: clean percussion, shimmering synth lines, and hush close, restrained baritone vocals that feel intimate and unforced. Repetition is not a loop but a slow bloom; each layer arrives with purpose, opening space rather than filling it.

Emotionally the music sits between melancholy and lift, reflective, tender, quietly euphoric. It leans into longing without drama, trading big gestures for small shifts: the moment a chord warms, the way a note lingers, the pulse that steadies your breathing. There is softness at the center, a calm that carries weight, a sense of being held while something inside lets go.

Designed for after hours and dim rooms, the tracks move like a steady tide: inward, then outward, never hurried. Nostalgia is present, but it is gentle, more glow than glare. The aim is simple: to give feeling a shape in rhythm, to turn memory into motion, and to let the listener rise a few inches above the floor without ever breaking the hush.
