We are well aware that secrets are better left alone. So we picked two of the hottest prospects from England to do that: they're definitely AA keepers! Having both released a few quality cuts on renowned labels like Hottrax, Cuttin Headz, and CUFF, British powerhouses Goosey and Toby Simpson make their Take Notes debut, bringing five solo originals to our new NOTE KEEPERS series. Expect some bubbling basslines, tight and crunchy grooves, slick percussion and trippy vocals for a pure TN pleasant experience with a pinch of UK nasty freakiness.

Signal interference between the heart and mind causes a rift visible even today on the lunar sound to the naked eye. And it is from here that the sound of La Zic emerges. The first release could only come from label boss Cristina Lazic, with her lush and pervasive 'Luna' EP, within which the two originals dive into the electronic music realms by drifting between low, driving basslines, rich arpeggios, and epic atmospheres while keeping a tight and minimal groove. To complete the package, top producers and cosmic explorers Mihai Popoviciu and David Gtronic are brought into play, adding their unique twist, bumpy percussions, and energetic drums. Landing complete.

Tamango Records bossman Yaya returns to his throne with an original EP after a while, and he does it purely with the captivating yet lush 'Something Between Us' EP. His comeback also sees two familiar faces and close friends of the label, Mahony and Nacho Bolognani, each providing a remix of the lead track.

Skippy and armed with a menacing bassline at its core, 'Something Between Us' is all about love, as slinking percussion warps around hazy pads, funky guitar riffs, and soothing MJ vocal chops for a lively and bright minimal house piece. 

On the remix duties, Take Notes owner and Sunwaves resident Mahony (Desolat, Mindshake) brings his tight Romanian trademark sound to the table for a funk-fuelled piece by merging rolling drum arrangements with a hypnotic lead for an anthem made for the terrace. Closing the package, Argentinian favourite Nacho Bolognani (Key Records, Moan) goes back in time with full-bodied house grooves, booming basslines, skippy grooves, and old-school piano chords.

All the earns from this album in collaboration with head honcho's 'Z CREW fun-dation' we will donate as well to help on the Battle Against covid18+1.
