Deestricted is a club night born inside the walls of Griessmuehle and now based at Anomalie Art Club, evolved in march 2021 into a record label with vinyl and digital releases. 

Deestricted wants to spread intensity, relentless pace, sharp and rowdy techno sounds. It is sweat,
condensation on walls, weave of bodies.
For this second release whole artists from French CARAVEL, Dahlia, Kaltblume, and YÅ joined us with
Techno acid and trance banger tracks.

The Southern has been in superb form of late, with releases on Truncate, SUARA, Kneaded Pains, CLR, and now Nicole Moudaber’s infamous MOOD imprint with the ‘JCK THIS LOVE’ EP. His driving, raw and sophisticated sound has won support from artists like Joseph Capriati and Adam Beyer, taking him onto the international stage at events such as ADE, Harry Klein Club, as well as many venues across Italy.

Opener 'Jack This' is a high-impact techno banger with clipped and funky vocal stabs carefully layered over driving drums. The fizzing, textured synths bring extra energy to the table, and this one won’t fail to blow up the club. Up next, 'Get Some' comes through with edgy undertones, its dark vocals and pulsating bass building the pressure under smeared dub chords.

Showing he has many styles in his arsenal, 'The Love' has a machine soul feel that echoes the magical Detroit sound as it powers on, while an impassioned cry adds explosive emotion. Last but not least, 'TRAM' brings industrial textures and hammering drum programming for a real steamroller that makes an indelible impact.

Tuyo Siempre by Jeffrey Lulanaj is a pulsating techno anthem that grips you from the first beat and doesn’t let go. Danny Wabbit returns to the forefront with Manic, a carefully crafted five track EP that serves as a visceral journey through the psychological spectrum of the dancefloor.

The EP opens with the unexpected: 'Fear Is Nothing But A Tool', a cinematic dubstep intro to set a dark, preparatory tone. It then ignites with the title track 'Manic', a hypnotic and powerful techno cut built to induce peak-time frenzy.

Stripping techno back to its raw essence, 'Severed' delivers a minimalist homage to the genre's warehouse roots. This raw intensity then gives way to the meditative groove of 'Breath Work', a track centered on calming, pulsating rhythms. The EP closes with the soulful and uplifting vibes of 'That One House Track', the perfect euphoric finale to a long night.

Since their first release as Extrawelt 'Soopertrack' dropped on Border Community in 2005 Arne Schaffhausen and Wayan Raabe have had a remarkable run. They relentlessly toured the world with their highly esteemed live show and released plenty of killer releases on labelslike Traum or Cocoon. Naturally, our ears were wide open when the Hamburg-based couple sent over a bunch of new productions to the KOMPAKT HQ. Announced as what they call a new, alternative path of production for them, more precisely "less computer, more hands on" we were directly intrigued by the power and rawness of their new sound.

In particular, two cuts stood out: 'PINK PANTHER' is pure analog funk. A sluggish beat is paired with a highly effective synth riff. The idea is as simple as it gets but it's executed in such a masterful way. You can drop this track anywhere and anytime - it'll certainly set things on fire right away. 'ARGONAUTS' follows an equally simple recipe but ups the tempo and energy levels by 100%. Heavy prime time saw toothtechno for the new generation that recall vintage Thomas P. Heckmann – perhaps if he were to wake up in a funky mood.
