The BGM of Etrian Odyssey is played using sampled FM synthesis, PSG synthesis, and PCM audio sources on a maximum of 16 PCM channels on the Nintendo DS. Consequently, it cannot be fully replicated using existing game console built-in sound sources. However, the FM6+PCM8 configuration of FM TOWNS might be somewhat suitable for approximating its reproduction.(GPT translate)
