Originally from New York, Nico has been living in Berlin for a while now but he has decided that his new home will be our beloved city Barcelona. 

He has worked on numerous projects such as Ceci N'est Pas, INTRZ, Neud, Polymer or Wall $Treet. His great trajectory as a producer has given us many tracks with industrial and vibrant touches. Regarding his latest works, we can find "Split" for @frigio-records (Spain) and "Cocktail 4 a body"  for @pildorastapes (Colombia).

We hope you enjoy this mix with dark sounds and new beat rhythms.

Physically and creatively Shubostar loves to travel. The South Korean born DJ and producer has immersed herself in the bustling music scenes of Thailand and Mexico and now she's setting up camp in Berlin, but through her music it's outer space that she loves to explore.

Her DJ sets and productions see her navigate celestial electronics, from disco and synth to techno and house, which she terms as cosmic disco. As well as releasing music via Anomalies Anonymes and Ano Ano, on top of remixes for labels like Roam Recordings and Eskimo, she captains uju Records which is a platform for her own music, brought to life by Korean painter Daryung kim's artwork.

Recorded at her international space station, she sees us into the weekend with a mix primed and ready for a Friday night that showcases her intergalactic tastes...

A few weeks ago, not long after we all went into lockdown, I decided to put together a mix, but I wanted it to be a little different from all of the mixes that were frequently popping up on social media. With that in mind I involved you in the process and asked for your suggestions of some of your favourite tracks from the past until now which I would include in the mix.

I was overwhelmed by the shear numbers of suggestions you put forward -  far too many to include all in one mix. However, I spent lot of time and love on the final mix, trying to create a special journey instead of just listing tracks that really stood out to me.

Digging through many old records like this, putting the mix together became quite emotional for me and it reminded me why I fell in love with electronic music in the first place.  It brought back many fond memories too. 
I really hope you enjoy listening to the results as much I did and I hope it stirs some memories, whether it be chills, smiles, tears or laughs for you all too.
